Looks as though it may be good news for you both then!!

Decided at the last minute to go to Richmond this morning and hopefully there might be some action from the stags. Here are two very quick ones as just got back and going out again.

These two I heard and thought great, got so close I ended using my Tamrac 90, really going at it oblivious to me then some idiot's dog scared them off argghh

Thought that was it but moved location ( official stalker of one of the stags from the above fight) and couldn't believe my luck with these two, they calmly walked out of the wood into the sunshine making sure the sun was behind me and then the bell went . Perfect models could not have asked for more, decent iso and shutter speed:D:D

Colours were quite good ar Richmond will post a couple later if you decide to go there Sunday. Can't do either Sunday or Monday I am afraid

Second one is stunning mate, nicely done. I like the crop too.

Traffic was a nightmare going home but knowing I actually got some action shots definitely made it worth it. I will have to go through the rest but I think those two were the cream of the crop. Thanks for your comments

you'd be surprised how close you can get, so I would say 200mm would work fine...

I have the Kata set.
I'ts a little bit cumbersome, however provides excellent protection.
Because most of the time I'm shooting with 1D and L lenses, I only use the cover when I'm facing prolongued periods of heavy rain.

I use the following:
E702

E704

http://www.cliftoncameras.co.uk/Kata_Rain_Cover (external link)

Ditto, I bought mine back in around early 2006. From NZ. Used it for my 20D and 120-300, however I usually just let my 1D get wet now. :p

Doesn't rain as much, or heavy in London/Kent, as it does back in NZ, where our average rainfall is double

On Sunday, yes. Doesn't feel like a year.

Congratulations for Sunday :D

Hi guys

Just wondered if anyone would be interested in a meeting this coming Sunday? The weather looks lovely and the autumn colours are at their prime I would say! :)

Cheers!

David

PS. No letter for me either Although as a recent graduate which they've invested a lot of money in (for training), I would have been very surprised if they already wanted to get rid of me .... although if they found out how much I go on POTN .... ... *shhh*

Haha POTN at work.. I've just been browsing a fair bit more the past week or so. Then was blocked a couple of days ago, so now logged in via IP, as they seem to only blocked the direct worded address.

Where you thinking of going on Sunday? I fancy a good shootout in Autumn colours, before heading home. Keep seeing stunning shots posted, but I guess, not being away from city doesn't help.

PS. Amazing view from my house into the neighbouring park this morning. Icy, foggy and eerie. Too bad I had to run for work!!!

Decided at the last minute to go to Richmond this morning and hopefully there might be some action from the stags. Here are two very quick ones as just got back and going out again.
