Here's a view of Orange County from the hills of Yorba Linda I took on the night of July 4th. Let me know what you think!

i like it. I just moved down to the OC and have been looking for some good hills/mountains to get up on to take these kind of photos.

I like how the stars are failry sharp and the one firework on the right of the picture (which i barely noticed). Good work!

Thanks! I shot this at a 30' shutter speed, f/8.0, ISO 200, 10mm.

Thanks! If you happen to go to Yorba Linda for some shots, you have to walk up some horse trails and such to get the best spots.

Was named for Orange county for the Orange Groves that covered the landscape.
It retains it's name for the Orange Glow of urban sprawl left behind.
Well represented in your lovely panoramic.

I remember when homes in that area were being built we used to swap out all the Real estate signs to confuse everyone.

High School was a long time ago for me but I seem to remember Skyline Drive as the place where we went to "Park" and lookout over O.C. on a Friday night.

and btw "The" OC is a lame t.v. show. No one that lives here calls it that.
