Found these two bees in the garden, who had stopped off to mate on the garden furniture....... Don't know much about bees and really struggled to get some good shots in the wind and showery rain. Was going to try to get them on Hi Def vid but they disapeared when getting the camera.

All of the pics I have were taken on the 50D with the 100-400 and a 2x converter on a tripod with flash.

Bee children, look away.

A tripod and flash, that was convenient to have and helped. Nice results.

I would say those are very good for a 100-400 with a 2x TC.
