I have one of these on the way and was just wondering if I could use the AF assist light from the flash without having the flash fire? Thanks.

Maybe the 5DMkII doesn't have that Cfn since it doesn't have a pop-up? Not sure if it would be in the flash or not, I don't think it is on my 430EX I Derek

Sold all my gear (again) to re-focus on enjoying time with my family
