Thunder Over Michigan Sunday

I've never been to an airshow before, but with a pretty wide open weekend I decided to take the two oldest girls and head down.

I actually liked the F-16 demo better than the Blue Angels mainly because the F-16 pilot was really throwing his plane around while the Blues were more about precision. In any case, the whole thing was a lot of fun and very impressive.

So here are a couple of the jets, unfortunately the F-4 was passing before a huge cloud when I caught him on burner, but I love seeing those flames:

And stretching the rules a little - I'm calling this another topic. Here are a couple of the prop planes. I've never seen a Lancaster flying before, very nice. And the Skyraiders are always impressive planes.

Bring down your highlight levels a bit.
