Many thanks go to Richard (Swaffs) for getting me a press pass for this weekend and helping me out a great deal with advice on technique.

These were taken with 1D Mk II N and 100-400 and were during the practice/qualifying sessions. I didn't manage to take any of actual racing due to being obligated with the Triumph Challenge series (for which Rich and I was there to cover). I could have covered Sunday's race, but the weather at the track was the worst I've ever seen.

This was my first time shooting bikes, they're a totally different beast to the cars that I'm used to shooting.

Hi pete,
Lovely pics,Luv pics 1,2,3,and 4 with the heat haze and pic 5 for the panning shot. It's something that i would like to try one day shooting bikes but these are great for first effort.

Would be happy with all of them but love 1 and 2 and think 7 would be my favourite with a little less strongbow and would of been a bonus with a clear visor as his eyes look pin sharp.


The equipment you'll leave at home will be the equipment you'll need the most!
