First time out yesterday in moons. Almost forgot which side of the camera to look through .

During the summer here it can be tough going locating subjects and dealing with the harsh light. Found a few of the usual suspects on the west coast.

All suggestion for improvement taken to heart. Thanks for looking.

Wow, you obviously found the right end to look through ;-)a

Great, no, superb shots there ! A quick question regarding # 2 (type of Godwit btw ?), how did you manage to get so low down without getting the camera wet ? The foreground seems to show the tide coming in and as the bird is standing in the water too, surely something must have gotten wet, either you or your camera...

Mike:

Was just in your neck of the wooks last week. Nice place ya got there! Anyway, those are fabulously lit shots. What time of day were they taken? I was stuck shooting turtles, aligators, egrets and others in much less favorable light.

Thanks for posting your beauties. Really nice work.

Nice series.. Love the FL water birds and you've done them justice.

I can imagine that the humidity is fierce this time of year.
