Nikola Tesla's birthday came and went on July 9th, and most of us sat at our computers like bumps on a log, with nary a thought about the man that made this possible.

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Just saw a fascinating documentary on Tesla. Brilliant man who was far, far ahead of his time (sorry for the cliche) but ended up in very sad straights.

It's funny how we all take electricity for granted these days. And how Tesla's AC changed the world!

Many times the secret to success is timing. He's a very interesting character and clearly a genius except when it came to marketing himself. he's one of my heroes since grade school. I choose him to do a biography on and was fascinated by his life.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Shocking! The man was quite a spark in the early days of electricity.

He never got it to work. And neither did the Japanese when they tried again during WWII.

True, but with the 2016 Olympic games possibly coming to Chicago I've been working day and night.
