Can you use the wireless remote to take exposures longer than 30 seconds or do you need a wired shutter release?

I have an Ebay model (Yongnu ?) and which can do Bulb exposures wired and via the remote control.

You didn't list a model, but I see the XSi in your sig. I don't know if it's the same for those.

I could with my rebel XT and Canon wireless remote. I would push the button to start, then push it again to stop.


Everyday use: 7D2, 1.4x v3 Canon TC (sometimes the 2x v2 Canon TC), Canon 500mm f4 L IS USM; 6D, 24-105L
