At the moment i'm using 'photobucket.com' but the site won't let me upload anymore as i keep getting an error page, which is ver annoying as i some latest shots for people to see. Probably some of the best i've taken yet with my G6.

Please help me...........:(

You can join bytephoto.com, they have a potw contest where you can upload 2 photos a week-runs sun-sat;also members can upload a number of photos into their "gallery" and indicate if they want critiques or not. I've not had much luck in getting many good critiques- a lot of views but folks don't take the time to add comments/critiques....
Good luck

Ok thanks for that Nick. I might have to make my own site, i can build websites but i wanted to be lazy for a change and just post a few at a time. I think it's great that you can share photo's and get good and bad remarks then share suggestions.

;) thanks anyway,

Karl.

Two things, don't forget about this forums photo sharing/critiquing section (that I'm totally addicted too btw).......

https://photography-on-the.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=6

And now that you got your G6 and are gonna have a zillion pictures to 'share' you should really REALLY think about a pay site. I did a bunch of research on this recently and found that SmugMug (external link) has the best site and deal for the money. And there's a referral system so if you drop my name you'll get $5 off. It's basically unlimited pictures (where most have a 200mb limit) for $29 a year. Well worth the money. I have my own website but like you said, it's sooooo much easier to upload/maintain/share from a photo hosting site. Anyway, just food for thought. If your interested in SmugMug send me a PM and I'll hook ya up with the $24 for the first year.

Also worth mentioning, that I found a bunch of people here use, is Pbase (external link). Which is really the "photographers" photo hosting site. With ton's of great photographers there sharing a wealth of knowlege. The site doesn't look as good (in case you want good presentation to clients) and it's limited to 200mb for their $23 a year price (with upgrade options).

Hey Karl, not too shabby for such a quick build! What software did you use to create your site?

Oh, and some nice shots there too!
