Generally I like to go first thing in the morning or later in the day. During midday, the lighting can be very harsh and difficult to get the exposures you might want.

Give people a chance to comment... For every hundred views, you'll be lucky to get one comment... That's just the way of the world.

I welcome you to it none-the-less... Last two shots are the best IMO... exposures are a little off in the others--in part it's because of the time of day and the strength of the sun. Thanks for sharing, and I hope you will again.

I go first thing in the morning when it first opens at 9 am. Wish they opened earlier. Late evening is good too, but I hate dealing with rush hour traffic in the late afternoon.

Keep those photos coming -- Love them!

snafu.. chill... no reason to be hostile towards the forum.. I normally wait a few days before anyone says anything about my photos...

As far as your photos go.. I do agree with micheal that your last two shots are your best because the exposure is better than the rest.. the rest of them have White Balance problems and exposure problems..

Welcome to POTN, enjoy your stay..

Easy there S.n.a.f.u., don't be too harsh on the members of a respectable forum. Patience is a virtue. As for your submitted photo series, the 6th & 7th shots of the birds are commendable. However, on the other shots exposure/focus could stand some adjustment. Oh, your apology is accepted by the forum...

Some of the issues could be corrected in post, but I am unfamiliar with Aperture--so can't offer any advice on that. Perhaps if you edited your original post and added the question icon, you might get responses from someone who can help:)

Since the question icon isn't showing... and since this is slipping in the posts... I'm bumping this for snafu--anybody able to help this new op with post processing using Aperture?
