Castle at Garda Lake, Italy

Experimenting with duo tones in B&W, I liked the result but wanted to be sure.

The range of tonality is very nice, but the shadows looked blocked up. Let's check the histogram - yes, it shows just what I thought - very heavily blocked up shadows.

Thanks a lot Robert, I actually do a sharpen by default with photoshop whenever I reduce the image size.

the shadows were indeed blocked up, I think it's the whole reason I decided to take this approach

Cool shot, but the grass at the bottom of the middle catches my eye instead of the castle.
