ACR / 450D question...

I'm using ACR with Photoshop CS3. When I open a RAW file from my 450D, at the bottom it is showing 10.1 megapixels by default instead of 12.2, which isn't even in the list. I'm pretty sure I'm using the latest version for CS3, which would be 4.6 I believe. If I were using an older/incompatible version I do not think it would even open. Any idea of what is going on here? When I pull up a CR2 from my 450D at work, it defaults to 12.2 correctly.

Does it show the right dimensions (approx. 4k x 3x)? When you are in Bridge or open the file in Photoshop and go to File/File Info and click on the Camera Data 2 selection, does it give the right dimensions?

I don't know why it is giving that figure, but if everything behaves well otherwise I'd hope that nothing's wrong with the function of the program. You could call Adobe support and see if they come up with something. I believe ACR 4.6 does support the camera.

I'll check when I get home. At work the CR2 from my 450D is 4272 px x 2848 px.

Heh! C'mon, now, own up -- what did you miss?

Didn't realize I had previously cropped the image in ACR, which I normally never do. The crop turned out to be exactly 10.1 MP (a very common megapixel count for SLRs), so I figured it was a bug.
