I did a photoshoot for my cousin's prom as a favour in June. It was my first time doing some serious portrait work, and I was pleased with the results. All were tweaked slightly in Lightroom, but the first one is almost directly out of camera. The second I'm working on a second edit, but its not done yet.

This being my first time doing some portrait work, I know I can improve. That being the case: Let me know what you think!

A touch of fill flash on the 1st and 2nds image swould have helped, or perhaps a reflector throwing some light onto her face (that would have help prevent blowing out the background in the 2nd image).

hey, thanks. I'm not sure what others think, but the 2nd image I intentionally blew, and upped the exposure in LR afterwards, I was kinda going for a high contrasty image. Does it not work? I thought it looked kind of glamerous.
