Had a Tamron 28-75 for Canon, loved it. Dropped it. Is now effectively a 40-70mm lens. Everything else seems to work fine: AF, aperture control, etc. Any idea what could be wrong and what it would take (cost) to fix it?

I purchased a Sigma 24-70 when this happened (7 mos ago), but I hate to see this thing just sitting gathering dust. I tried to post it a couple of times to no avail. Just curious if it seems worth it to fix or not, based on this very preliminary information.

Thanks in advance...

Send it in and see what they say. If it's not worth it, have them keep it, since it's just sitting around anyway. If it's less than $200, it's probably worth fixing and selling.
