Has anyone noticed these transmitters or receivers having problems or causing problems with 2.4GHz wireless networks or 2.4GHz cordless phones? I just ordered a set but was wondering if they might have problems with other 2.4GHz devices.

WiFi, cordless phones, and whatever else don't affect these. It's a wide band as many other POTNers can attest.

By the way, I was asked by PM by someone on here about the sync speed with a 5D2 and these 602s.I thought I'd post my response in here, just for posterity:

I can get 200 with the 602s, 5D2 and 580II.

This first shot is @200:

And here is at 250:

Note. At 250 with creative framing, you still get a useable shot.

I am still a little confused about attempting to shoot self-portraits with these. Is it possible to shoot self-portraits with one transmitter and two receivers or not? If possible I am lost how to do it., even after all the directions on page 17. It's not a high priority but I would like to mess around with it if it's possible.

You can use one transmitter to control either one set of external flashes or the camera shutter but not both. If you want to shoot self portraits with a flash you need two transmitters set to different channels (one for shutter, one for flashes).

Same here, I ordered them two days ago, and can't wait for them to arrive. I ordered off eBay, hopefully it's as reliable as ordering off Dealextreme. Both ship from Hong Kong/China, IIRC.

Yeah I must say they are very nice. They have a quality feel to them and they work like a charm. I just need to order another transmitter for self-portraits.

Edit: Is it possible to order just a transmitter by itself?

I mean for the price,, why not order another set with transmitter and receiver??

You can never have enough receivers as your lighting system expands..

I've been looking at other sources of light..particularly alien bees. How would I wirelessly trigger the AB800 or AB1600? Can I use the yongnuo?

Yep.
Use the 1/4" plug cable with 1/8" adapter.
(NB. my conversion might be wrong, we use metric down here :p )

From another thread I was just reading. This doesn't answer your question directly but you CAN trigger them indirectly with a flash fired by the RFs.

Another option, since most mono lights have an optical trigger, is to use the radio trigger on the 430 in manual mode and let it fire the mono via the optical trigger.
