OK, so I'm feeling a little stupid now. I bought some RF-602 two weeks ago. One transmitter and three receivers. They work great on my 400D. The problem I have is that at the time of purchase I wasnt thinking very far ahead and forgot that I'll be buying a 5D Mk II next week. Will they work on the MK II or do I need to buy some more? The ones I bought say suitable for 500D/450D/300D/350D while I see they sell them suitable for 5D's etc etc. I've looked at the packaging and cant see anything different.

Mick.

They will work on your future 5D MkII, you just need to buy another Shutter cable if you need that feature just for another $6. If you just need to trigger the lights, then you don't need another cable..

But you shure don't need another Transmitter and Receivers.

Here is the cable you will need for the 5D Mk II

Mick,
They will work fine. The only difference is the remote cable which I which probably never use. One comes with each receiver so I have about 6 that will work on the 5D Mk II.

PM me if you like and I will trade one of my cables for any one of yours just to give myself some variety in my bag. I'll take one of the remote cables for your 400D or one of the pc cables that you got, or one of each for 2 if you want. But you don't need any of them to run your flash units.

Edit: Looks like me and Mufutau were typing at the same time.

Can this be the most expensive?

One trigger and receiver for $193.05! http://cgi.ebay.com …ss_RL?hash=item29fd78fdf7 (external link)

One receiver, normally as low as $17.00, is a whopping $120.95! http://cgi.ebay.com …m29ffd73feb#ht_4173wt_958 (external link)

Look at the units sold. They all show an amount exactly 100 dollars or pounds less. Looks like someone made a mistake.

Maybe, but I've noticed the basic unit, duplicated and named "3in1" at greatly inflated prices, on several sites.

Question regarding these triggers. I notice that quite a few of the ebay sellers state....

Suit for Flash Speedlite with " Sleep mode" function:
---Nikon
---Canon
---Olympus
---Pentax
---Samsung
---and other flashgun which has " Wake up " function

Does this mean that they will work with the 430ex II?

Yes. They'll wake a 430 EX II from sleep.

Earlier in this thread someone ordered from "Cotswoldphoto" from the UK and received one day delivery because they were shipped from within the UK. You might want to do a search on them.

I used this buyer, no complaints. There may be cheaper sellers mentioned on this thread. It took just under 2 weeks to get to Toronto Canada.
