Hey guys, I'm interested in this product and i was wondering if they are reliable, well made etc. Also are they compatible with the 50D/Lumopro LP160? On dealextreme.com it only mentions the 300D 400D etc. no xxD's or anything. Finally do you need a second trigger to set off the shutter release and the flash at the same time or will it all sync?

Thanks, Shane.

They will work with the 50D, just make sure you get the correct shutter release cable. The question on stutter and flash has been asked and answered multiple times. Short answer - yes you need a second trigger.

For the record, I love these! Bought directly from YN on E-bay.

This is my first wireless triggers. Also my first time to buy out of China on e-bay.

The transaction was very fast. They shipped within 1 day. The seller provided a tracking # at my request. Item arrived in 2 weeks. Both the build and reliability seem very good for a $58 product (1 trigger/2 receivers). I have had 0 miss fires or no fires.

I am using a 50D with a 430EXII and a YN-465.

Hope this helps someone.

Thanks. I just ordered the RF-602 w/3 receivers (external link) for my 7D. Now I can't wait.

I noticed that there is a kit that comes with stands (external link). Is this necessary or can I mount the receiver with the flash attached on a tripod? I couldn't find any photos of both sides of the transmitter and receiver

Just received an email..

Your item(s) has been marked as shipped.

Now the real wait begins.

QUESTION: I am trying to get one of the receivers to trigger my cheap strobe (this one to be specific: http://www.henrys.ca …-MASTER-SLAVE-W-SYNC.aspx (external link) ) I have the cable that came with the reciever plugged into the strobe (the one that looks like a headphone jack on one end). It does not work. The strobe works fine when i connect it directly to the camera with the cable that I have. The receiver fires my speedlites just fine. Different voltage or something??

Anybody?

Sounds like a sync polarity problem. The RF-602 are polarity sensitive and if the strobe has a reversed polarity, it will not fire. Try reversing the sync wires in the strobe or the receiver cable.

Or it could be just a bad lead..

This bites...I just got this email...

Your payment has been received for the following item. We will ship it within
1 business day as promised. After doing so, we will send you a notification
letter.

I guess it means it's a longer wait.

Photographed my neighbors yesterday. Wireless is great. Used a LumiQuest softBox 3 on my flash . Nothing fancy but so nice to be wireless.

I had a big shoot yesterday.. Four hours shooting, around 350 shots, three receivers and not one miss fire..

I'm really loving my RF-602 system..

Nice photos Jurgen. Same model but different moods. Lovely!

I haven't got any misfires on mine too. That's around one year already since I had them.

Thanks Arnold:D

She is a Revlon Laos girl.. I've been doing a bit of work for Revlon the past month or so.. Revlon has a stable (probably wrong choice of word;)) of house models.. I'm able to pick and choose who I want to shoot and Revlon supplies a MUA..

Here is the same girl, different look..
