Pageant of Power - on track

Some pics of the action on track from the Pageant of Power. Only in its second year, the event improved from last time but some good spots for photo's had been taken away.

apparently AWD and Truck weight is not enough to keep the veyron on the ground!

Great shots! How do you get such clear shots of cars coming at you at speed like that?

Are you prefocusing on a spot and high shutter speed or actually getting them with AIservo? I tend to have no luck with AIServo and always miss focus on the first foot or two of the car which tends to ruin the shot.

Cheers, I almost always use AIservo (all of these are). I generally don't have any problems with it in decent light, but it is a bit hit and miss when the lights poor (with the 100-400).
