I'm starting a thread for anyone going to Trainfestival 2009 in Owosso, MI. Post your pics here!!

I'll start...

NKP 765 on it's way to Owosso on July 21st. Too bad GLC didn't let her lead...
I thought I had a good spot until I realized it really wasn't all that great as it got closer.

It would have been cool if she had been in the lead.

A train is a train and they are all good....just some are a little better. The smoke and steam look kind of crazy, kind of cool...railfans will understand and appreciate the shot...did you get any other shots from here as it passed by?

Yeah, here's these two.... still wasn't a good spot to be in, and then when I tried to move backwards there was a berry bush full of thorns behind me....

If I can get the day off of work, I'm heading out on Friday to chase the 4449 to Alma. I'm going to the festival on Saturday.

I bet the fella on top of the bridge got a good shot with his cell phone... after he wiped the soot off it!

Well, that's just stupid they wouldn't put the steam on the point.

When SF 3751 pulls an excursion, the helpers are between the tender and the cars...

You did a great job under less than ideal conditions.

Nice images, boy that would've been fab to have seen in the flesh :)

Would've been better to see at the head of the train though, I agree.

We found out that GLC had some switching to do when they got in to Durand. Apparently they wanted to use their units and that's why they were on the head end.
