Is it ok to combine battery brands in a battery grip? For example a OEM Canon battery with a Opteka 3rd party battery without issues down the line?

Otherwise you could just use one battery at a time in the grip and use the other one as a reserve. All I did was make sure they were fairly close in their mAh ratings... The Canon is 1390mAh and the Delkin 1400mAh. John
