Tis a fine looking tree you have there...very cheerful and bright.

You are aware that even the 80 proof version is flammable? Not quite as good as the real high octane stuff...but will certainly singe your eyebrows if not careful!

You

yes but were allowed to put a stopper on those bottles.. it's the other stuff that has to have those safety tops on them that worry me... the ones that will combust if the temperature gets too warm.... ofcourse i've never actually seen a bottle blow up but it would be kind of interesting...

and thanks for the compliment on my tree I think I like it.. :D

The bottle is not going to do anything in normal bar settings....in a fire...every bottle on the shelf poses a threat. It takes more to get wines and some of the cordials to ignite...as they have a higher water content...but heated enough...even beer can be ignited. Just have to boil off most of the water first. The good news about bar fires is they are very easy to extinguish....just add water.

luckily i've never experienced it.. don't think i'd want to.. but, if it weren't my fault, didn't cause too much damage and was easily taken care of it might be entertaining... I have seen a lot of kitchen fires..

I'm trying to see if any of the test burns are online...a lot of the stuff is there...but you need the passwords to get to it...there is some very interesting video in existence.

BTW, there is a big bushfire burning out of control in Australia and the weekend is forecast to be extraordinarily hot too.

Your tree is lovely, Sari! It has inspired me to pull mine down out of the attic and get the seasonal decorations out.

yes i'm within ten miles of two ski resorts.. there is a LOT of snow enough that i'm a little uncomfortable driving around early in the morning or late at night.. I have a pair of snowboots that I wear to walk across the street and then change into my work shoes.. but, I love it. It's just sooo pretty and clean and makes everything look new. All of the photos that I took three months ago have to be retaken because the view has changed so much..

Sari, this is an awesome shot. I love this. I, of course, do NOT live in snow country, not really, and scenes like this make me wish I would just go out and at least visit a nice snowy area. Again, nice shot. I really like the trees off setting the snow.

Oh, and congrats on the tree. Oooh, and Aaaah.
