so.. here's my morning.. keep in mind I had to work by 11:30 so everything happened before noon..

up by eight to dish up pancakes and sausages for four of the nine nieces and nephews.. Abby, her brother and sister were present as well as three year old Kaed.. by 8:45 Abby had fallen out of the tree in the front yard... skinned knee... some neosporin, bandaids and a few minutes of cuddling time on my bed later they all go outside to ride bikes.. By 10:00 brooke has tripped over a scooter... a lot more blood in the elbow area.. some ice, ten minutes of singing sitting in the bathroom floor and a gauze pad with tape later out they go to ride bikes... By eleven Kaed has fallen and skinned her knee in the gravel... LOTS of tears a seriously annoyed Poppa hollering for everybody to 'toughen' up stop crying and stop bleeding a washcloth and twenty minutes sitting in the recliner with a seriously loud argument over who's fault it was that Kaed followed the big kids riding in the gravel later i'm late for work and have somehow promised to take everybody for icecream on my break........ seriously, some days. But, i've now decided to put a time limit on how good war wounds are for. One week. That's all they get. after a week whoevers latest injuries in the line of fire is washed clean and it starts all over again....
