here's an example of the difference...(to me the second one looks more like RL)

edited in lightroom and exported using srgb

edited and exported in lightroom using prophotorgb

Ummm...did the first shot disappear for everyone, or just me?

I answered a question here the other day from someone editing in LR, exporting, then using a non-color managed application to view the files. He was seeing different colors, of course, unless viewed with another color managed application. It was another ProPhotoRGB vs. sRGB issue. Since I can't see both your shots, I don't know what might be going on.

Hey Permie...be careful about changing the color space you are editing in...it might look better on screen...but it can really mess things up when you go to print. If you took the photo in sRGB...it is much safer to edit it in sRGB...or if shot in AdobeRGB then edit and print in AdobeRGB....most commercial printers are going to work in sRGB unless you make special arrangements with them. They might go AdobeRGB....but you probably going to have a hard time finding any that will use one of the other color spaces.

Messing with color spaces is bad news unless you want to go insane figure out what is going. Since you print at costco, it is the safest to stick with Srgb.

I sent a few of them to costco (which is where I always go...if it's bad, I'll switch it back to srgb and then tear my hair out!)
