I only see 1 shot....

Okay, I'm SO much happier with both lightroom AND the 30D (I can't tell you how close I was to forgetting the MKIII and buying another 5D...).....not that you all needed that update or anything

have fun at woik Josh.

Are you trying to lay a guilt trip on me? You can't get frequent flyer miles for that!!

Hey Puddle, who are the two characters on top of the rocket? I would guess the Boring Boys but I can't tell...

He seems to be quoting me on this one....

timbernet wrote in post #3378903 (external link)
Puddle and TD are ON the ship and not inside... interesting...

It was his goofy idea. I just followed....

Heh.. I must have my box shot. I need to qualify the lenses before they go out. Once the initial pixel peeping is done, it is never done again.

I'm beginning to see that people feel very strongly about ducks and boxes (on either side of the fence)  I know I do.

But I do agree 50% in the respect that duck is for eating, not for photographing :D

okay guys, will you support my new poll?

NO MORE DUCK SHOTS!

I would vote but then you don't have an option for it :(

I have shot boxes in the past, I have also shot the odd duck, but I don't buy anything new so I can't do either.

however if I did get something new it would be a flower.

I agree with you Lisa! I hate the candid duck shots. If you are going to shoot a duck, do it in the wild! (Maybe I am just cranky cuz the ducks around my house are shy.)

In other news, I am going to start building a blind at my pond... Our Blue heron is back around again, enjoy some of our bullfrogs and bluegill...)

I'll re-do our machines and see if that helps.

do the non-srgb shots look off on your machine?

The non-sRGB shots look washed out...they even look washed out on my neighbors non-calibrated monitor.

thanks Wool, I was wondering, since no one answered...well I'm thinking things are fixed but I don't have time to do anymore editing for a few days...so we'll see.

New to you - not new from the store! I hardly buy any new lenses right from BH, but I still shoot ducks....

You always don't have a pond... (as far as I know).
