The floors and all the cabinetry are hickory...the previous owner of the home built all the cabinets in his workshop...and hand selected all the flooring at the mill.

Ok, so Scott figured out a hiking tripod for me. It is pretty darn sweet and works pretty good, but you have to see this...

It weighs 1.5 lbs and yes.. it holds the 70-200 f4 :grin:!

That thing is so cool!

I was cleaning my room and found this old tripod - the head was worthless and the center shaft didn't move too well... So I tore it all apart, stuck a 3/8 bolt in the middle and tighted my basic mono-pod style manfrotto head on the top - BAM, instant tripod with quick release ;-)a

That shot looks to have much more normal coloring than the earlier shots.

okay good! thanks. I think it may be a bit under exposed but the day was like that so I'll test everything next time I go out and shoot.

Thanks guys...anyone passing through the area is welcome to stop by and visit once I get settled in...be nice to have guest rooms and actual space to move around. My dogs will be in heaven...this camping is starting to wear on us.;)
