*gasp* help me! help me!

Just got my computer plugged back in -- it is also amazing how messy a room gets while you are cleaning it!!! A lot of work - but it should be worth it when done... I will take a photo...

ahh so you are cleaning the room via putting the junk in another location. :) nothing like trying to clean a room while moving stuff around to make room for the stuff your moving.

Stunned by disappointing sales of the new Canon EOS 1D Mk III, the management at B&H Photo/Video is scrambling to expand into new markets.

Selling tuxes to angels with cheesey smiles? Seems like a limited market to me. :)

I'm glad you didn't disappoint us, Chief! I knew you'd be spreading the good word somewhere.

Just got back from a day of nonstop shooting.

Six photogs, two 600WS monolights, two ST-E2s, one radio transmitter (the rest were on optical slaves), six Speedlites, a laptop with two monitors, EOS RemoteCap and a pool table. All of us took turns at being models - and frankly, as someone who was NEVER happy with the way I look in photos, I am surprised how well they managed to make me look - I was impressed with the shots and lighting.

Great crew, great food, great company, great photography.

Doesn't get much better than this!

We got stuck in this mess (external link) yesterday. We sat in our car on the freeway for just about an hour. I was getting a little nervous because this occurred right in front of us just before our exit. I was very low on gas, and it was 110F. I had to keep the engine idling for the A/C, but I also had to keep an eye on the remaining gas. Fortunately, I still had about 2 gallons left when we got clear of the wreck and off the freeway.

I've never seen an accident quite like this. The Hummer (H2) had its entire undercarriage ripped out from under it. The mini-van had its side ripped open, but nobody riding in it was hurt. There was a tractor/trailer also involved that they didn't mention in the article. It was sitting on the shoulder with a flat front tire on the tractor.

Very messy.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Nasty.....I HATE being stuck in traffic.

I had to navigate some of AU's worst roads today. 20 minutes to move 2 miles. Great. And we were already behind schedule.

The irony is that I could have taken a route that was 10 miles longer AND saved time......... we took that on the way home and we actually made it back faster.

Nice shots, Claire. I really like the second one. I know she's not, but it looks like she's looking at you as you take the shot.

 Yikes, Chief. That's awful. Glad you made it OK.

What really had me frustrated about this was that we were only a couple hundred feet past the last exit when we realized things were stopped. If I had been in the right lane, I would have backed up to the off ramp. Unfortunately, I was in the middle lane, and there was no going anywhere. We were only 3.5 miles from our destination, and it would have taken us maybe 5 minutes if we'd gotten off the freeway.

Anymore shenanigans going on last night? Banishments? Crises?
