Tomorrow could be a big day for all of us.

Because of a ring flash? Or did you mean us as a forum? What's Pekka got in store for us? Huh?

One note on Nemo. The seagulls in sydney are WAY too life like. When I was down there all I could think of was Mine... MIne.. Mine.. they seriously acted like that. It was hilarious.

Not just "down unda". My brother and I used to take the charter boats out from Ventura and Santa Barbara every weekend. That was definitely the funniest part of the movie to me because I could certainly relate.

It's fast approaching my bedtime, and I'm nowhere near enough to earning that key to the executive washroom this morning. I guess that will have to wait until tonight...

It's a good companion for the 180L macro lens I have. I'm guessing I'll try to find a bug or something.

Those twin lights are very, very nice. They move around the outer rim of the flash mount so you can direct your shadows. OR, they can be removed from the mount and used as mini slave flashes. Very cool.

I have the MR-14EX already, but it's the inability to move the lights that makes it of marginal value to me. I'm looking forward to the movable twin lights for the reasons you've outlined.

Looking at that picture of TD brings a question to mind. Does he part his hair on the left or the right?

BTW....I need advice. I want to pick up a light tent and a couple lights for taking some eBay-type pictures. Anyone have any recommendations?

Run over to the lighting forum - some people have made their own and they work quite well --- just some pieces of white foam board, some paper, and some work lights and/or flashes --- good sized lightbox for like $25-$30...

Lemme find a link...

Okay. I overstated things a bit. I have no idea when Pekka is going to make any changes....soon, I expect. I also happen to know of a couple different deliveries to other members scheduled for tomorrow. So if I said "a big day for all of us," I'm merely suggesting that we should all be glad when a fellow Tupperwarian gets a new toy....even if it's only a stupid ring light.

I'll forgive you if you got one for me, too... ;)
