Hola, chaps. Still very busy doing things with the new house. Out all day in the garden today, giving things a really severe cutting back.

But had time for this.

What is that beast?....very interesting to say the least.:D

WOW!! I love that hummer shot! My mom has a feeder and has been wanting me to get some shots like that, but I haven't had any luck so far. Its been so hot here I think the nectar is too hot to drink. The hummers go to the feeders but leave after one sip.

Good lordie Wanda....I was just looking at your avi....did you delete one of that duck's legs?

LOL Actually as far as I know he has two legs. It was a cold cold day so maybe he had one tucked under, or else it just didn't show in the pic due to the angle.

edit: actually it was the angle. You can see his other leg back there.

Some I took with that lens and some I took with my Tamron. The quality between the lenses was hard to discern.

I'm glad somebody besides me thinks that tamron is an excellent little lens! Your hummer shots are REALLY good. You should post them in the bird forum!

Just out of curiosity...how long before everyone goes back to their regular avatars?

I will go back to my normal avatar as soon as you change your avatar to a duck!

Poor Scott, there is no way I'm having a duck avatar.

I took some photos of Twink this afternoon, and I'm currently editing them and plan to use one for a new avatar. Eventually... ;)

I saw one of them on tpbmc. It's a great shot of him...really accentuates his gorgeous eyes!
