you know, it does :o :o oi. I have it off and I AM SUCH A DORK! *off to soak head interminably...* (I was thinking about it's use for weddings...not birding)

Hehe initially when I read about highlight tone priority I also thought that I would not have a use for it because they marketed it for weddings.

But as I posted here I found out that weddings are not the only thing it is usefull for

Well, not in the woods anyway...

No wonder they closed off the beaches around here this weekend.

Just so you don't go in panic. When you enable it the lowest ISO you can use is 200.

interesting...I wonder why? I knew about the 3200 was the highest you could go in it...but you'd think they'd let you go below 200 to help the exposure...

Greetings Everyone!

Good news. It cooled off today. It's only 89! And I think the humidity dropped to 80. I almost need a coat. ;)

We spent the day at the South Texas Botanical Garden and the Texas State Aquarium (right next door to the USS Lexington).

I just discovered the Jeep has Sirius satellite radio. :D

Lonnie, I missed the reason behind the jeep. Is this a loaner/rental? Or did you buy a new rig?

okay Oregonians, we just booked a hotel in Redmond. Is anyone else going over for the weekend? I tried to get a place at the Wilson Ranch in Fossil but they were booked (such a bummer because it would have been a great photo op.

Perm, I have a class at the zoo on Saturday the 14th. I might look at driving over from there. Otherwise, I'll just get up extra early and meet you guys. Bummer that we won't be carpooling. If either of the Boring Boys want to catch a ride, you're more than welcome.

Love these shots Perm! For everyone else's info, this is where I lived until 4 years ago. Lived 4 miles north of this shot for about 3 years and about 9 miles south for about 13 years. It's truly beautiful there.
