Woohoo! I sense a London meet being organised.

Oooh, I definitely would love to meet some POTN members when in London. I will be staying with my friend, but I'm sure she'll be working during the days, so I get to roam around alone.

I used to live near Richmond (Chiswick) and I love the place.

I shop in Kensington and visit the museums, another place I love

I used to work in Clerkenwell and can not think of a single reason why anyone would want to visit as a tourist :-)

There is a sushi place near me that offers "All you can east sushi" for £10 at lunchtime. I am convinced they slow down the conveyer belt when they see me walk in.

I loved on top of Richmond Hill (my Uni was there) and I need to take shots of Richmond. With my luck it'll be pouring and depressing shots, but oh wel. :p

The upper division campus was close to Kensington High Street and I'm definitely going there as well. I love the Natural History Museum and I need to visit the V&A properly.

My 2nd Uni was in Clerkenwell - City University. I lived close by Angel tube first, then close by Farringdon. The only reason I'd visit is because of the memories... ;)

Of course :D
My new job is going to be based in High Street Kensington, and I can't wait :D.

Oooh, nice. Wagamama at your door step and the best sandwhich place I've ever gone to is close to Kensington Square. The best Italian sandwhiches I've had. And when having a hangover they're ten times better. ;)

Not in the whole of the UK - now, take Manchester ;) (I'm kidding, well kind of)

Anyway OT I know, but this thread in the WF amused me no end -https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=346598 it gets so agressive so quickly!

It's silly, because many of the users are really nice, but they just wind each other up.

I started reading that yesterday...but when one member got redneck about not allowing anyone with a "professional" camera to take a photo, I had to close it and walk away. I've seen some foolish statements made here...but that one has to be very near the top of the list. If you are so unsure of your work that you have fears of someone possibly getting a better shot than you...then you probably have no business shooting a wedding in the first place. They seem to also forget that they were the ones hired to shoot the wedding, which means the person doing the hiring wasn't happy with the quality of images that Uncle Fred or Cousin Susie were able to provide.

One person said how they shot a friend's wedding, and the friend asked them for some full res shots, but they refused as they didn't want to tread on the toes of the 'pro'??? If the bride and groom are happier with shots taken by a guest, then the 'pro' needs to up their game.

I do think that wedding photogs can get a bit of a rough ride - at expensive weddings, they're the cheapest service, and yet the only thing that will last, is the memories, and the photographs / video.

I would love to go to London/Europe.... but the airfare from OR to UK is a bit more than Sweden to UK...
