oooh, where is that at? I love fish and chips....

I would love to go to London/Europe.... but the airfare from OR to UK is a bit more than Sweden to UK...

No worries, Scott. Sunday we can stop at a place that does a really nice job on fish and chips.

Right here:

Shooting weddings paid for many playtoys for me over the years. I never had a problem with someone else taking pictures. One of the very first things I noticed is that just because a person has a fancy camera, doesn't mean they even have half a clue as to how to use it.

The last really good fish and chips I had were in Liverpool in 81...I haven't found a place here in the states that even begins to compare.

Yeah, the cash I'm getting this, next and in Sep will pay my 30D that I'm intending to buy (if the damn dealer just emailed me back! grrrr). I want to use it for shooting weddings, so thankful I will get cash from the weddings I'll be shooting now this and next month. :)

Oh, and when I DO get the 30D I'll be crazy one not knowing how to use it... :s

I’m not a big fan of fish and chips probably because here in the Midwest, Arthur Trechers Fish and Chips is about as good as it gets. It’s sort of weird, we can get good fish to eat raw, but the cooked stuff is all crap. Its almost as if the sushi/sashimi guys run in and get all the good ones and everyone else fights over the bluegill. ;)

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

We don't even have Artie T's around here. And they can't blame anything on sushi...because most of us call that stuff bait, so the demand is rather weak.;)

We have good fish, it’s just expensive so one does not want to waste it on battering it. We seem to have two tiers, great fish and horrible fish. Great fish gets broiled, grilled, marinated, eaten raw or somehow done up right. The rest goes into Micky-Dees fish sandwiches and Artie-Tees.
