hey TD, I did one at almost the same perspective as your shot...the colors weren't as good yesterday...it was a dull flat day!

Very cool! I love the close up perspective. I was standing under the large oak tree when I took mine. It was that really cold morning a few weeks ago when everything was frozen.

I wish I had gotten up early this morning and gone down ther. I thought it was going to rain today, so I didn't bother. I took the morning off and actually slept in! Except for a wrong number at 4:30 am I slept in until almost 8:00. Thought for sure it would have been work at that time of morning, but it was a WRONG NUMBER!!

oh, that's a bummer! I hate the phone...especially in the middle of the night/wee hours of the morning...I always think it's an emergency!

Husband says you are going to WF tomorrow. I want to go...maybe if we get our stuff done we could meet you out there...that'd be fun. Yesterday there were no elk...but a lot of raptors. I hate it that so many areas are closed off...couldn't get close to anything...

We have our huge Christmas gathering on Christmas eve...so Sunday is for sure out for us.

Yes, I'm VERY tired of the rain...VERY. And the 2 hr (seemingly) long days...a little more sunshine instead of gloom (when it's not raining) and an occasional couple of days w/o rain would make me very happy...

I just looked outside to see beautiful blue skies. It rained for a while last night, but today it's clear and sunny. Too bad I have so much work to do today. Otherwise I'd go out a shoot for a bit.
