let's blame Kharma.. I threw a gum wrapper out my window a couple days ago. I totally pushed the silent button on my cellphone when my stepgrandmother called me today and I very conciously decided not to make my bed.. Probably deserved it...

okay.. it's an old story but it's a goody.. one of my bartender tales I bring out to entertain folks with...

In order to really appreciate it you kind of have to have an impression of what I look like.. My dad is Portuguesse so i'm very short, have black curly hair a round face and brown eyes i'm fairly pale but not in the middle of summer in San Diego..

So, after my grandmother's wake four of my cousins my sister and I all agreed that the only logical thing to do would be to get drunk.. Because Meg, Mina, and I were all under twenty-one we crammed in my Pontiac and headed for Revolution blvd. in Tijuana... and proceeded to take complete advantage of the tuesday night two for one special.. On the way back you have to pass through this little building that looks kind of like airport security in my sex on the beach haze I thought it would be funny to practice my twenty words of spanish on the border police.. I have lousy vocabulary but a pretty decent accent.. Anyway, my id was from Idaho which wasn't seen very often down there.. that coupled with my features and sloppy spanish almost had me getting thrown back into Mexico... My sister was soo pissed she couldn't see straight but the rest of my cousin's were about fifteen feet away laughing their butt's off..

Karma will forgive the bed- you are going to be climbing back into it soon enough. save your energy for something more important on those days. The cell phone silence-- we have to take care of ourselves in order to be available for others. Karma will accept that-- find a time when you have limited availability and call the step gmother and wish her a happy holiday. You won't be able to stay on the phone long enough to get hurt or cause hurt and you will have made her happy.
That gum wrapper thing I'm not so sure about though

I normally don't answer the phone if I don't have to so if Kharma won't forgive your ONE episode, I'm doomed!
I am however a neatnik so my bed is always made....and your story is hysterical....you're right, you could probably get us both into trouble just fine!

the story of my life.. I am really a quiet kinda person.. except ofcourse on the rare occasions I either decide i'm sick of me and act out just to remind myself that I can or have too much to drink.. and then the schemes are legendary.. there was that time when I was seventeen that I was supposed to go to choir practice and went to California instead... the bumber of my car was held on with twine... not sure what the heck I was thinking.. but I had a good time.
