Geek goddess...my SISTER! :D :D :D :D
(too bad it wasn't for more money because that would have been ideal!)

/bin/tcsh for me

He should have offered more $$ :D You sound like the kind of problem solver they need.... too often I see them pay peanuts and get their proverbial monkeys at the keyboard in return!

I could have haggled but probably not enough to get what I wanted. The county just doesn't pay well at all. And I thought the University was bad!!

Both common expressions in the technology world..

It has been said that if it were possible to get an infinite amount of monkeys banging away (typing random junk, as is to be expected) at an infinite amount of typewriters, sooner or later, they will produce the Complete Works of Shakespeare, by brute force - testing every possible combination and arrangement of letters. Sorta like car plates, if you keep incrementing the alphabets, you can occasionally spell 3 letter words.

The sarcastic retort is "Thanks to the Internet, we now know this is not true.. since we now have an infinite supply of monkeys and keyboards"

I even have a plaque somewhere that declares me a goddess! and there was a little "altar" for offerings in my cubicle. My preferred "sacrifices" were chocolate pie and longhaired warrior poets. Ate a lot of pie. ;)

Uhmm.. High Priestess.. your peon reports that his 85/1.8 is now winging its way across the world...

International Dispatch, December 26, 2006, 10:21 pm, J. FARLEY, NY

Tomorrow should be interesting :D

However, B&H *AGAIN* split the package into two boxes (I ordered a Small Rocket too). The problem is that the other package just left Jamaica NY a few hours ago. Hmm....I wonder if the Rocket was the first to leave... it makes sense that it would.

Actually got an offer at the courthouse the other day. "Come to my office. I'd like to proposition you." Too bad it wasn't more money. I might have jumped!! I miss being a geek goddess sometimes. ROFL

Oh my...Oh, oh my...Sounds like an interesting office.;)

LOL...I never worked in offices like that. Although, considering my co-workers, I think I'm quite happy I never did.

Morning Wool!
