No problem Tommy, your condition ain't life threatening plus there are good remedies. So take it like a man. As far as your gear goes, what does a good eyesight have to do with coLLecting ? Even a blind man could FEEL his lenses. Even if you could not feel them, you KNOW you've got them. There, I hope I have provided you with a badly needeed reality check that the tupperware kids obviously could not.
Lastly.....let me ask you a question so as to help you see the issue more clearly: when was the last time you might have used the following lenses: 14L, 24L, 35L, 85L, 135L, 24-70L...? You see ? I've told ya so.

I'm just trying to get opinions on what you see as an intelligent way to approach this when it does happen. In the meantime, I thoroughly intend to keep going the way things are. Actually, the thoughts of having 20/20 distance vision are intriguing. I've never had that, ever.

I have no recoLLection of that. However, what difference would that make ? I know I have those lenses in my coLLection, that's aLL that matters to me.
I also know that they are there for me to use if I wish to.

They are all brand mint new, still in the original packaging, all 30 of them (also counting Canon's non-L lenses in my coLLection). With the exception of the EF 300 f/4.0L USM: there I had to settle for a "like new" copy because the new ones are not being offered by Canon any more (replaced by the current IS model).

They were all new to him when he received them.

That's a very good shot, son. Unfortunately, the background is kinda not up to par, but the subject is excellent.

Well, it's his cage. Oh well, huh? Any other part of the room would have been just as bad, really. This was more continuous and less distracting.
