You know the really sad part about that contest?

I had the perfect image in my head. It's that tragic little Lola in the bokeh of an otherwise decent self-portrait of Webby. A sure winner! No bokeh could be uglier than that!

Webby has such beautiful children......I ain't sure it's good for them to be exposed to Lola day in, day out. Moreover, that other mongrel of his is not exactly an Adonis either. Very sad.

I've never seen a shot of the other dog "right side up"...it's always on it's back...I thought maybe it was just a stuffed dog so that Lola wouldn't feel lonely

They call me a goddess at work...the Basketball Goddess.
And I only made it to one tournament today. We beat the opponent by 40 points! By the third quarter we had so much of a lead that coach sent the JV team out to play them. And by the fourth quarter, we had freshmen in there playing! It was a total blowout.

Actually, the thoughts of having 20/20 distance vision are intriguing. I've never had that, ever.

So sorry to hear of the cataracts. My mother had the "slow growing" kind and ended up having them removed within 18 months of diagnosis. She didn't really suffer a significant loss of sight in the interim, though. Since the surgery, her vision is better than it ever has been. Don't know if I'd sell off the lenses, really.
