Well, I'm a red fire truck kind of guy. I know what I like. When I find something I like, I stick with it. Red. Fire. Truck. Not green. Not blue. Not lavender. Maybe that electric yellow variety. But definitely not paisley. Red. There's just something that strikes that small town boy's heart in me when I see a big ol' red fire truck rippin' around town with the lights on and siren blasting. I don't think it'd work if it was psychedelic.

how about a yellow triumph spitfire with a hand sewn paisley cloth top?

Liza: that's one cute cat!

Thanks, Puddle. I'll relay that to Teddy, as I'm sure it will make him feel better about himself. He's been having crisis with his weight lately.

It's not a fire truck, so that's OK. However, I'm more of a light khaki Jeep sort. I don't think it's physically possible for me to fold myself into a Triumph.

The city of Syracuse, NY had beautiful white fire trucks for years...however...Syracuse is the snow capital of the major metropolitan centers in the US...they learned that white is not a good color for fire trucks during a blinding snow storm on I-81 a few years back...their trucks are now Chrome Yellow.

Jeez Louise, who was the rocket scientist who chose white in the first place? Especially in upstate NY.

Compared to my cat, yours is svelte. When Dollie lays on the floor, parts of her are in the family room, laundry room, and living room, all at the same time. She covers a lot of territory.

I've always wanted to drive around in the chief's rig. Or that hook and ladder. As with most little boys, I wanted to be a fireman. I thought that riding around on a fire truck while standing up in the back was the coolest possible thing on the planet. There was that kid's book by Richard Scary that was about fire trucks, and I read that thing daily.

Aslan AKA Sam AKA doily

I'd made the couch up to sleep on one night and he got tired of bugging me to get off the computer and go to bed.

Stealth fire trucks. Sneaking up on the three alarm fires. Wild.

LOL! I'd love to see a photo of Dollie so we could compare. Remember, Teddy is only 8 months old, and is supposed to top out in the 25 to 30 pound range! My hairdresser has a cat of the same breed, and he's too large to comfortably fit on my lap.
