Good morning sunshine....how are things at the salt mine?

Salty and dessicating! I was up early this morning but crashed out again before you posted. this plave was pretty dead. I thought I was awake but glad I disabused myself of that foul notion. GOt to sleep in one more hour before I had to hit the classroom.
GOrgeous 70s here today after refreshing rain last night. The forecast is that the bitter cold will hold off until after the parade tonight. IF s, I may venture downtown with the 30D. or not.

Got a call from a former student- he transfered to KU (much to my delight and disappointment both) He is having his first article published soon; a revision of a paper he did for one of my courses. I am so proud of him. he is such a brilliant young scholar. Miss him too. Miss the challenge!

Very descriptive Wu...bleah...when I checked in an hour or so ago it was pretty quiet too.

That's really cool re: your student. I'm sure it's nice to see tangible evidence that the effort in your courses has paid off...especially when it's been so stressful in other areas there.

no hot neighbors in my area. Even the University is lacking in that area.

I recall having a hot blonde wannabe hip hop girl across my window. She was South African & only dated black guys. Now there'd been photo ops if I'd had a lens & better angle...at least by the sound of things...
