This just happened to me earlier this evening, using the latest LR 4.3 with the latest RAW. I went to import the file and the image "flash"ed and got corrupted, I loaded a backup of the same file and it was perfectly fine. From what I read everyone suspects harddrive ? I'm using an enclosure for my harddrives, any chance the enclosure is to blame for failure? Hmm, all I can say is go through all the troubleshooting that is suggested in this thread. There are a lot of "things" in our systems that can cause problems! Tony
