About how far from the subjects were you with the 70-200 f4? Also, how do you like that lens?

I was about 4 feet roughly from the subject which is around this lenses max focusing distance. I personally love this lens its great and tack sharp. It really depends on what type of photography you are into. I use this lens for portrait work which is what most people use it for. I would say it probably isnt the best macro lens, but I may be wrong about that as I do not know too much about macro photography. These pics were just for fun. I would imagine that for macro photography you would want a lens that could focus much closer. Maybe someone with more knowledge will chime in.

Also this lens works with the canon extenders which I plan to pick up. Honestly it is a great lens for a even better price when you consider that it is an L.
