Very happy to have stumbled upon this thread. I just picked up a pristine A2 for a whopping $20.00, and added an also-pristine grip for another $25.00. What's wrong with THAT picture? ;-)a Anyway, I gave away my Minolta Maxxum 7000 with extra lenses and flash a few months ago once I figured out that there were hundreds of them for sale on Ebay and not a one was selling for more than about $35.00. The poor thing sat in a bag unused for too many years once I bought my first PAS digital. That little bit of depression over the value soon turned to elation when I found out how inexpensively I could pick up a Canon body that will take my EF lenses!

So anyway... I've got four new rolls of film waiting for me. It's been a LONG time since I've shot film and I'm anxious to start playing again.

Nice work Joe! I'm hoping that with all these restorations I'm doing I'll eventually have some working film cameras lol!

My T90 will hopefully be back next week, and I'm replacing the seals on my EF so I can use that as well.

I was touring around in my country not far from my house, and found few cool places here and there, i posted some under blue sky threads and the beach, so i continue to post more from my day trip that time, and this time it is few shots from a small village called "Al Ramla", it is belong to Umm-Al-Quwain emirate in UAE.

Lovely small colorful houses here and there, so definitely color films must be used here over B&W.

Hey you guys! I've been looking into buying a cheap[er] medium format shoot-from-the-hip camera. Any suggestions? I'm trying to keep it under $250, which is really hard I know. Managed to find a Bronica SQ-A with a 80mm f/2.8, 220 back and an AE metered prism, all for $250. Should I jump on it?

If everything works, it doesn't get much better than that. The SQ-a is a TANK, and the metered prism's are quite nice to work with. ;)

The Captain and crew finally got their stuff together, now if we can only remember where we left it.

Thanks. I also found a Mamiya M645-E for $140, but it's being sold "As-Is" because the meter reading is not visible. I'm not quite sure why this makes it so undesirable. I would be under the assumption that it still works properly without the display.

Sounds like a good deal, but be aware that you will probably need to get a 120 back for it (unless you want to shoot 220 film...).
