Just ordered a epson v300 scanner. Start digitizing all those old photos! And just pay for developing on new ones, until I learn how to develop film that is!

I'm not sure the difference between the V300 and V330, but I think you'll be happy with it. Kelly - EOS 5D - EOS 40D - Rebel XS - EOS 10D - EOS 1D - SX230 - AE-1 - OM-1n - Minolta Himatic7 - EOS-1N

I just hope Kodak sells to someone who actually cares about and understands film. Ilford would be an ideal candidate in my opinion...having all their awesome b&w films and Kodaks color films under one roof would be amazing. That's an interesting thought as I have long been a fan of Ilford films. Though Tri-X does have its place in the world -Abram-

Though Tri-X does have its place in the world (TMax films also have a big fan base, I miss Plus-X, that was a nice film. Glad I still have a couple rolls left)The Fuji Neopans were my top choice for most things though but I could just as happily shoot Ilford. Oh yeah! If that happened I would hope that Kodaks b&w films would stick around as well...tri-x is definitely one of my favorites. _______________

Today, my photography instructor directed us to the Kodak website. He talked about how they were one of the best innovators in photography, but how they've fallen behind. He then said,"They were the top producer in film, which they don't even make any more." INSTANTLY I said,"Woah woah cowboy. They make some of the best color film on the market, I don't know who told you they don't make film anymore." Broke my heart a little when a photography teacher didn't even know that Kodak still makes film. ![]() BOOM! Good story! //Tijmen

A lot of crappy films as well, but that's because I don't know how to develop C-41 *yet*. I figured I should order some crappy film I can f*ck up which doesn't really matter so I can learn C-41. ![]() not all those are c-41 just letting you know. i see some b/w and slide film too.. both of which cost a lot to develop.. its cheaper to develop yourself.

I've been scouring eBay and saw this: (11) 4X5 Ektachrome E100G 20sht boxes (220 sheets total!!!) Seems a bit pricey for 220 sheets of film ($2.95 per sheet). Anyway, is it a good idea to trust that expired film has been taken care of? It's been expired for almost 6 years. I was never a fan of Ektachrome. The best slide film, overall, is Fujichrome Provia 100F, IMO. Great colors, natural skin tones and no reciprocity failure for 2 minutes. I have two 25-sheet boxes of Velvia 50, but Provia is much easier to shoot with. "Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.
