Where's the best place to get my film developed and scanned? I just took my first roll to Walgreens and they pumped it out at 1545x1024 for $11. Below is one of the only probably 2 salvageable shots so it was good for just practice, but I'd like to get higher res when I finally figure out how to best use this old geezer.

^using a Rokinon wide angle adapter originally meant for a 35mm canon Af point and shoot.

made it 33% wider with some vignetting, surprisingly little considering instax wide film is more than 6 times bigger than 35mm...

I take mine to Walgreens, mainly because they're the closest and cheapest place that does it in-store. There's an independent camera shop in town too that does a better job and at a higher resolution, but it takes them longer and they're more expensive and more of a drive so I usually just settle for Walgreens.

What I would LOVE is a place I mail my rolls to and have them develop them and scan them and then let me download the results. Anybody know of anyplace offering such a service?

There are lots of places that do the developing and scanning, but they all seem to want to sell me prints or charge a ton for a disc. After all that, I'd end up paying twice as much as I do at Walgreens but waiting days and days for it. The only upside I see is higher resolution, or at least the option for it. When I had a bunch of rolls after vacation I used mpix and it made sense because I could get more than one roll on a disc, but if I just have one roll it's too expensive to go that route.

Took these with Polaroid Land Camera Automatic 100 that I bought from Maverick75. I don't really have the hang of it yet, but I'm having a lot of fun with it.

And here's the Land Camera itself. These were taken with an Elan 7 on Fuji Superia 200.

If you're looking for someone local to Michigan, send it to Negative and Print. I sent him 5 rolls from my trip to the west coast, and his pricing was cheaper and scans were better than the local labs.

I'll post up my samples in a bit.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes to overhaul a Rolleiflex TLR? I've had mine out for 1 month and am just wondering how much longer I should wait.

It really depends on who's doing it. I don't think it takes more than 20 hours of work to actually clean it up.
