Nice work, Tareq. What scanner and software are you using?

I've been thinking about upgrading my v500 to either a v700 or v750. Did you prefer the v750's LED diffuse lighting over the v700's CFL lighting?

I didn't test V700 to compare it with V750, but as long i had the money i went immediately with V750 and never look back, but from what i read many saying that V700 is same exactly as V750 but without software bundle and fluid mount, in fact in our region i've got V750 without fluid mount [Europe and Middle East region], so only software could be the difference which for me wasn't that much worthy.

About the LED/CFL lighting, if that is correct then definitely go with V750, at least i am buying the scanner once, not replacing it again and again as you do if you will upgrade from V500, but i can't advise you as it is your money and your budget affordable.

well i'm no "nut", but I just bought a refurb AE-1 Program w/50mm 1.4 and flash, for my dad for father's day. I grew up with him using that camera, so all my childhood photos were taken with it. He had to trade it in a couple years ago when the shutter went out. So, I hope he enjoys it :) It's minty, and I just took a roll downtown Chicago to test it out.

The new 160 according to Scott DiSabato from Kodak is supposed to have a similar range in exposure latitude but I have not tried it yet.
