I'm sure this has been covered but new printers have come out so please post if you LOVE your printer!

I need to print to dvd and don't want to be purchasing ink cartridge all the time and "of course" deliver the highest quality prints, fax, copier.

Heh! Plenty of people print here using mostly photo-specific printers, not so many using all-in-ones which include DVD printers. I've heard of a few, but I imagine they're rare birds:)!

Well,
It's an older thread that i just came across, but I just purchased an Epson Artisan 810 and am really impressed with it. Very good at pics, quite close to my 1400 Epson. Will print cd/dvd's but have not tried that yet. Great scanner and everyday printer, especially the duplexer built in.
Hope this helps,
Ron

There are Canon printers that will print to DVD/CDs...most Canon printers have that ability, but the US models have that option disabled. You can pick up the DVD print tray off of eBay. If there is a particular Canon printer you're interested in, you can Google it to see if it has the DVD print option.

I agree, just got this at bestbuy last week for 180, it prints to DVDs and looks amazing! I buy these matte silver DVDs and they look amazing with images on them. No complaints other than the wifi will not work for me which is no big deal cause I use USB cable instead.

I am looking at the Artisan 710 online right now....I can get it shipped to me for $180 biggest difference I see is the addition of the fax on the 810. I might just go with the 710

I picked up a refurb 700 for $79 from Epson a few weeks ago, and couldn't be happier. Everything just works well, with amazingly good prints. I added a Vintax CIS system to it, and so far it's been working flawlessly.

jmalonear, the 710 is $145 shipped from Buy.com through Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/o/ASIN/B002JM1XQM (external link)
