I took my Xsi body and 70-300 lens to the Irvine service center for a tune-up before an upcoming vacation. The lens was not correctly aligned (which I had begun to suspect after using other lenses) - not horrible, but not 100% right.

Even though it is several months out of the warranty period, they did not charge me for the lens calibration.
Just wanted to share a good experience.

Canon 7D, 17-55 IS, 24-105 L IS, 70-300L IS ; Lumix FZ200 (because they won't let me bring my gear into stadiums without a press pass)

Thanks for sharing a good experience. To often we only hear about the bad ones and that's when the rumors start about various service centers, brands ect. Sometimes they are warranted but sometimes not.
