if im shooting video in the low quality.... how long will the battery last for if I keep recording 30min videos continually. (no grip)


also... is there any way to shut off the screen while doing video?

Hey

Here is a handy link from Canon here (external link)

Essentially,

Camera Only

23C/73F 850 images, 200 shots with live view, Approx. 2 hours or video.

0C/32F, 750 images, 180 with live view, Not specified but will be less due to colder temp.

Now this is manufacture specs, actual results may/will vary.
