Just want to warn people, not sure if this has been mentioned on here before, But my Lee Holder came apart after 3 days of use so I thought it might help, The little spring loaded pin that you pull to clip the holder onto the ring with is a threaded screw and in my case didn't have loctite or anything on it and came apart while shooting a waterfall and I lost one of the parts  luckily the store was good and swapped it.

Will.

You should make a habit of checking your equipment before and after each use. I've been using a Lee holder for several years and have never had any problems with it...then again, I always give my gear a once over before using.

Something else you need to be careful/aware of: the spring in the brass clip has a fairly low spring constant, which makes the spring force a bit "soft". If you happen to be handholding the camera with the holder installed, and the holder should "catch" on something, it will separate from the adapter ring (rather than being held firmly and the "catching" force being translated to the lens mount)...this will protect the camera/lens, albeit at the cost of a possible lost holder and filter. So if you happen to be resting the camera/holder on a railing or something similar for support, be mindful once you've taken the shot and lift your camera.

Yeah your right I check all my gear before use also :) I purchased this holder the day before I left on a 4 day photo trip of non stop Photographing so I expected "the best" Filter holder out there to not fall apart after 3 days of use haha A metal on metal thread should have some kind of Loctite or something in my opinion, dont get me wrong it is an awesome holder and used with the AW rings its a pleasure to use with the 16-35mm on FF.

Oh, trust me, my definition of hot would have you drooling. Let's not forget, I live in NYC home of the most beautiful women per square foot. :)

I was born and raised in the NY/NJ area, but overall I think Texas women have them beat by a country mile or two. After living here now for so many years, I'll take a good looker with a southern accent over that New Yawk accent anytime (but it sounds like you're definition of hot may be similar to mine anyway). ;):D:D
