First wildlife shots and first shots ever. C&C welcome!

Here are my very first photos ever. I got my film camera (Canon EOS Elan 7) that I needed for school and put on my 70-200 f/2.8L IS and decided to give it a go. I shot most of these at either f/2.8 or f/4. Please offer any suggestions or tips. I'm brand new to this and would appreciate any help. Thanks!

Anybody? I know these pics aren't anywhere near perfect...

Hi,

They look like very nice sharp pics.
- Slightly different composition/framing so the subjects are not dead centre would create a bit more life in the images I think.
- And maybe a closer/tighter crop and you would see more of what looks like some lovely fine detail in the birds. At the moment you kind of feel like you're 'squinting'.

Good effort ............ and just keep on shooting !!!

The shots are fine, but the ducks are so small, there is no detail to them.

Turn on your image editing... and people might show you different crops etc... A nice beginning, but a few changes would make a world of difference.

I intentionally didn't crop or correct any of the photos. I just wanted to make sure I was the actual photo-taking right and then go into post production. I'll make sure to crop and edit the pics first next time though.

Nice shots! With the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8 L IS lens, I would have tried some closer shots to bring out the beautiful detail of the ducks.
